Where in the world...?

i_kenderI forgot to mention... I'm in Bahrain for the weekend for my sister's wedding. She got married yesterday, but because of the weird customs we have here, she wasn't actually present when the official documents were signed. My Dad and her husband were though. It was very mockable. They had to hold hands, stare into each other's eyes, and repeat words that the Mullah was reading out to them. I kid you not! So yeah, in the meantime my sister was at home watching TV. I barely saw her all day.
The rest of yesterday was fairly boring... lots of waiting around, lots of sitting down and feeling bored in fairly formal settings. After it was all over I got a bit depressed... after all, I'd flown all this way to see my sister, meet her new husband, and celebrate them getting wed, and because of stoopid customs had barely seen either of them. Meh. Very boring, very depressing.
So afterwards I went out for a drink with my best friend Ham, and our good friends Jehad and Butt to a fake Irish themed pub... yes, they really are all over the world!
I miss the UK, and my girlfriend... sorry for the sap, please ignore *handwaves* Still, flying back tomorrow. Probably tanned. To cheer myself up, I'm going to have a swim this afternoon - our new house has its own pool. Rock.
And I probably have to apologise tobuddleia as well because Ham gave me a belated 30th birthday present... and it's my own copy of World of Warcraft.
I can't wait to get back... I'm so tired! And Bahrain kinda sucks the life out of me. Ok. Laters peoples. I know I owe you all a huge photo post. It's coming, don't worry! Be good, don't set fire to each other. That's just mean.
