The man we call Loud Guy in our Cube Farm (who sits about 30 feet to my right but whose booming voice still makes my hammer and anvil vibrate every time he opens his mouth) just made me wince.

He leaned over to the young Australian temp in their team and said (in tones loud enough to shake the room, naturally) "So do they have any young attractive girls left in Australia then?"

There was a general murmur of polite laughter. And much eyerolling.

I never watched that. I just don't like Ricky Gervais. He was ok in Alias and I liked him getting stabbed in Stardust but apart from that no way.
