You all need to see this...
Oct. 16th, 2008 10:15 pmWell, let's face it, you don't need to hear about how shitty my job has been recently, do you? My job is shitty. I need a new job. There you go.
Instead, linkity linkity! From the nethers of the Internets, I bring you:
THAT photo from the Obama vs The Toad debate (thanks to
warren_ellis )
A song called Circus Fish by Vermillion Lies here or here (thanks to neil gaiman) which includes the great line "I want to smoke you like a fish". Nicely twisted cabaret.
Also from Neil: XKCD was featured in the New Yorker! And they had a Cartoon-Off!
Err, also from Neil: here is a timely page from The Onion about why Republicans, um, should not be.
Oh, I nearly forgot to tell you: I saw Amanda Palmer last Friday and she was amazing! Seriously :) And I saw Neil Gaiman shaking a tambourine on stage as a backing musician and you, in all likelihood, did not :P
Having said that, I'm not going to his scheduled talk/interview op for Blackwell's in London on the 31st - it's sold out now anyway - because I will (hopefully) be doing something more special for Halloween. What, I don't know yet, but you can tell how much Halloween means to me if I'm scorning Neil (who I quite like, did you get that already?) for the merest chance at doing something else.
Halloween: it's important. Do you know what your kids are? (as long as they're not Republicans. Patrick Bateman has that costume covered)
