Something I meant to post weeks ago.

There's a bench near where I work and a month or so ago I saw some graffiti on it that made me really angry. It read: NO NIGGERS in big black marker pen. I was so furious and had all the thoughts that many of you are probably having right now - Who would write such a thing? Why aren't we past this sort of bigotry, especially somewhere as culturally diverse as London?

It quite ruined my day.

So I was delighted when wandering past a week or so later I noticed that someone had very carefully defaced the original message. Now it makes me smile every time I walk past and read it:

WHITE GIRLS LOVE PORNO NIGGERS

(no subject)

For those of you who have been dying of suspense *koff koff yeahright koff* I still have my job. I'm not sure if I'm going to be getting any kind of pay rise at all, but the good news is that I've been told I was right to speak up and say something rather than suffer in silence.

So that's good.
