Z Day

I looked out the window this morning and there were corpses pushing their way out of the back garden. My first thought was "No! Not the roses!"

The commute in was surprisingly easy. I saw hordes of shambling mindless drones at Waterloo Station, so no change there then. At least I got a seat!

Walking along Waterloo Bridge was nice as always. The city skyline is always so pretty and puts a smile on my face. This morning the clouds of billowing smoke and ash were lit up in glorious oranges and purples from the blazing buildings below. Lovely!

I grabbed a quick coffee and headed into work. There are a few people here. We've piled up all the desks against the stairwell, so we should be ok. Currently watching wealthy people get eaten on Regent Street from our second-floor windows. It's enormous fun. I think I just spotted someone from Eastenders racing down from Oxford Street screaming as she was chased by a ravenous horde! Chortle. This should make time fly by til lunch :)
