Q: What is a kender?
A: From wikipedia: Kender are a fictional race unique to the Dragonlance world, a setting of the Dungeons & Dragons role playing game, most popularized by a large series of novels which take place there. They are similar to halflings or hobbits in other fantasy settings, with key differences, particularly their heightened curiosity, hyperactivity, kleptomania, and inability to feel fear. Kender are about 4 feet tall and are very mischievous. They commonly use a special weapon, called a hoopak, which is a staff with a sling on one end.
Q: So does the Kender username mean you're a kleptomaniac?
A: Why, yes. Also a hoarder of useless treasure. Why, did you want your glasses back? Also, you seemed to have dropped this gold ring. Luckily I found it.
(In our old AD&D adventuring group, we always believed that the most terrifying sound you could hear in a dungeon was the "oops" coming from the kender at the back of the party...)
Q: When are you going to make an honest woman of her! HMMMMMM? :)
A: Bwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!! Meefle chortle snort!!
The ASK ME ANYTHING! meme is still open if anyone has any further questions... just post them in an older, screened post if you want to stay anonymous.
And now I will leave you with something you've always wanted to know but were afraid to ask: where is Bahrain anyway? How big is it? How many people live there?
(and a better map here: Bahrain is that little dot in the middle, just NE of Riyadh, next to the sticking-out bit, rather than the sticking-out bit itself. Yes, it's tiny.)
