And someone emailed me this. Now, I do have doubts about posting this... an editorial opinion piece that blasts the US and Israel. It has some views I agree with, and then goes strongly off the deep end into ranting, revealing some deep anger and prejudice from the writer. But I wanted to go ahead and post it anyway, because it is exactly the kind of thing that would be making the rounds in Bahrain and other places in the Middle East right now. You think the liberals in the West  are angry? Read what decades of anger does to your opinions. Please read with caution... if you're likely to be offended, just don't click.

thank you for posting it. i think this really could be ww3... there's going to be one hell of a backlash from it, that's for sure.

oh, but this "You think the liberals in the West are angry" - no. they're not. they're still complacent and compliant as ever. until the bombs are dropping on their heads, or gas reaches $10 and the kitchen taps don't work, they won't be angry. i hate to generalise, but you started it ;), so i'll continue: the liberals in the west don't care about anything but themselves. until "themselves" are directly effected, they won't act.

Hmm. Well, I'm angry, and so are all my friends, and most people I know here in the UK and online. But I suppose the question is, what am I doing about it? Nothing. I'm angry and upset and disgusted by what's being done (NOT IN MY NAME indeed) but I'm not doing anything about it. That's the crux of it really.
