It's Pirates vs Hobbits Day!!

Damn. Not only has Tolkein's son Christopher finished one of his Dad's incomplete novels but it appears I have missed the LOTR musical Hobbit casting call! Goddamit, there goes yet another one of my life's ambitions up in smoke... although being 6"0 might have been a teeny, ahem, problem (and can I have an "aw bless" for the poor Hobbit-wannabe who was 'next'-ed at the end of that article? Aw.)

So why so much about Hobbits today? Does no-one know it's Pirate Day? Also... Ninjas vs Pirates vs Cowboys vs Hobbits vs Zombies! In SPAAAAAAAAACE!! Who would win? Why, the audience, of course...

Work is so boring although I have a lot to do. I would be so much happier if our offices were overrun by Killer Mutant Super Rats.

Could my LJ friends who are having such problems with their modems/phone lines/connections etc PLEASE SORT IT OUT! Thank you.
