Who watches the Watchmen?

Huh. Whaddaya know.

Zack Snyder (director of current box-office smash 300) is set to direct Watchmen next.

It's the closest Watchmen has ever come to the big screen. It could be good, it could be bad... it'll never be as good as the graphic novel. I'm sorry, that should read THE Graphic Novel... the one that changed everything in the comic book industry.

Remember, kids... "Never compromise." Ah, Rorschach... I can see you played by... Paul Bettany? Ralph Fiennes?

After reading Alan's latest interview which goes into the history of his projects being filmed and exactly why he's not interested in being remotely involved it's hard to be excited about it. I mean V for Vendetta was quite good but it was almost entirely different from the comic.
I'll try to take it on it's own merits but I'm not expecting to see a watchmen that is remotely like the comic.
