This is the way the world ends...
May. 15th, 2007 12:48 pmPlease note: This post contains my conjecture for the upcoming Season Endings of Supernatural and Heroes behind the cut. There are No Spoilers Included For Upcoming Episodes/Seasons in my post as I don't read them. (But there are SPOILERS for the most recent episodes of Heroes (ep 1.21 The Hard Part ) and Supernatural (ep 2.21 All Hell Breaks Loose Part 1 ) PLEASE DO NOT POST SPOILERS FOR FUTURE EPISODES IN COMMENTS! I don't want to know.
Also don't read if you don't want to hear my predictions.
Purely my idea of how these two shows are going to wrap up their seasons. There's one episode of Supernatural left, and two of Heroes (as I haven't seen this week's episode)

Heroes: With two episodes left, I don't think there's any way our Heroes are going to stop the bomb from going off. I think whatever happens, the bomb will go off, and next season will be dealing with the aftermath, and with the world now knowing of the existence of people with super-powers (
blankbadge: similar to Powers... after all, we've already seen that Heroes the show doesn't mind borrowing ideas from classic comics eg Watchmen!)
I think Hiro will manage to kill Sylar, but not before he kills another main character. I'm going for Nathan. Sylar kills Nathan, Hiro kills Sylar, and Peter goes KABLOOEY with rage and grief. Nice and neat.
I love Heroes, I can't wait for the next season already!
Supernatural: Well, after the shocking events of the last episode, the scene is set for a final showdown with the Demon with the Yellow Eyes. Dean is going to go to Hell (pardon me) to get Sam's soul back. Bobby will help him, but remain behind. I was wondering whether they'd try and involve Jo, but I'm thinking while she may appear in the last episode (they have to deal with the ramifications of the roadhouse burning down, not to mention whatever happened to Ellen) she won't accompany Dean in his "journey".
In Hell, Dean plans to find Sam and make a deal with the Demon to switch places with him. Little does he know this is exactly what John Winchester did at the beginning of the Season... he made a deal with the demon to work for him, and sign away his soul, if the Demon would brink Dean back to life! So Dean has to face off against his father to get Sam back. Luckily there's some last-minute manouevering and all three Winchesters defeat the Demon and return to Earth. Except oops! John has no body, so I'm not sure how that would work. So maybe only two of the three come back... but who stays behind in Hell? John? That would make sense, he's already sacrificed himself for his boys many times over.
But wouldn't it be a helluva (sorry) lot more shocking if it was Dean? How's that for a cliffhanger ending...

Date: 2007-05-15 01:15 pm (UTC)S: I thought Dean learned that his dad sold his soul to save Dean's life? The demon in that wish episode told him as much and his whole trick to catch that demon involved tricking her into believing he would do the same to save Sam. No? Father son faceoff though. That would be cool. Cliffhanger ending would have it be Dean. I'm getting memories of Buffy here where she still ends up killing Angel and banishing him to hell, even after he turns good.
