Non-spoilery news for Heroes Season Two:

 

As for "Heroes," 24 episodes are on tap for the 2007-2008 season as well as six episodes of "Heroes: Origins," an "innovative new spin-off that each week will introduce a new character -- one of whom will be chosen by viewers through the 'Heroes' website on NBC.com to become a cast regular the following season." The project, which will have a separate writing and producing team from the parent series, will air either after "Heroes" concludes its second season or as a bridge between two of its broadcast pods.

For the following season? So the characters We The Viewers choose will appear in S3?

hmm... I don't know why I am so skeptical about seeing more than 2 seasons of Heroes. I just don't want it to turn into garbage :(

Actually, I think that must be wrong. It must be for viewers to choose the characters appearing in Season 2, surely? That would make more sense.

Can anyone out there verify this?

Hmm... well the article says "following season." They do seem to be strong on the viewer involvement, inviting viewers to post their theories and create the Wiki.

I would not be surprised at all that they are planning for 3 seasons at least. Networks are all about "oh the fans like that! make more make more!" But what about artistic integrity? "What?"
