Sin City trailer from Miramax

I stumbled across a trailer for the new Sin City film, based on the Frank Miller comic (and directed by Frank Miller and Robert Rodriguez) and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. Huge ensemble cast including Bruce Willis, Jessica Alba, Benicio Del Toro, Brittany Murphy, Rosario Dawson, Clive Owen, Mickey Rourke, Elijah Wood... and they've tried to film it in the same visual style as the comic, which is very bizarre to look at but I think might be quite effective. The trailer looks good! I'm shocked, as this is the first I've heard about the film in a while. I found it on the Realplayer site here http://guide.real.com/ but I believe you might need Real Player to view the Trailer section. You can probably find it elsewhere.. I'm a big fan of the comic (well, when it started anyway...) so I really hope they pull it off. Bruce Willis is a good choice for something so noirish... and Mickey Rourke is Marv. He has the same nose and everything...

Meh, I was never a huge SC fan. But, if Hollywood can take anything comic-like and turn it into something other than horseshit, I'm happy.

Yeah, it's a boy thing. I did totally dig the art though. Think it went a bit screwy after the first few stories.

I've never read the comic really but I have always liked the style of it and appreciate that they want to maintain that in the movie. I'm not overly keen on Bruce Willis, but I don't hate him. Besides. Benicio del Toro makes up for everything. Rosario Dawson is pretty cool too. Did I mention Benicio?
