Ps. There is no truth to the rumour that I'm currently obsessed with World of Warcraft. NONE AT ALL! And anyone who tells you otherwise is a Lying Hussy :P
But but.. how come you aren't playing too? Where's the romance??
J and I didn't think I'd be playing this long so we both are on the same account and now neither of us is willing to start over. It's like LadyHawke. Never shall the Paladin and the Red Mage/Beastmaster meet.
Still need the extra machine and then we have to look into it. I'm sure there must be a way to do it. Why would Square Enix complain about us wanting to buy an extra account? ;)
Hi. It is possible, but I don't think it's as easy as it used to be, unfortunately! I think you have to pay a small surcharge. And yes, you would need another machine! ...and a babysitter ;) But it would be nice to quest together, no?
A lot of people left FFXI for WoW and continue to do so. Supposedly your account is deleted after 3 months, but it's actually a year (with a little more effort), and more than once they've introduced a 'welcome back' campaign that allows people to easily return.
J has his heart set on an X-Box now it seems because he wants to play Halo 3. I'm sure it's a fun game, but it just doesn't seem at all interesting to me.
It definitely would be nice to quest together though, although we're a combative couple so I'm guessing we'd have a good few fights here and there that we'd have to resolve in battle mode ;) And think of the money he'd save having me there to cure his ails! Red Mages are wonderful insurance policies!
