i_kenderI’ve been like a feral dog all weekend, snarling and out of sorts. Buddleia deserves medals for putting up with me. It’s just leftovers from being so ill all last week – the weekend was actually quite chilled out, wandering down to Brighton on Saturday to lie on the beach, have a great dinner with lovely people, then lying on the beach again on Sunday. Monday I did lots of very little at all… the only problem with Bank Holiday weekends is the same problem with normal weekends – still not dam long enough!
I didn’t get a chance to watch Iron Man though, which I will try to fit in sometime this week.
Work continues weird. After we lost our tender for the new contract, I accepted a position in another team (headhunted yay!)… but as soon as I accepted, HR have frozen all movers and shakers until they have a meeting with the Exec team. Our programme, it should be noted, was a very large one which brought in a lot of money to the company. So there will be much panicking and re-arranging going on within the company for the next month. So I shall have to wait.
Frankly I’m sick of work, my team, the company and everything. And it’s hard to care – the sun is finally coming out, and I am starting to feel more human. Or at least I will when the aches and pains and leftover breathing problems finally dissipate…
