10000 BC was a good solid ok – nothing really special but worth watching for the bits of borrowed plot. I saw snippets of Conan, Jurassic Park and Stargate in there! Apocalypto did the same thing, only better... I don't care if your voiceover narration is done by Omar Sharif, can we please keep that kind of thing to a minimum? Thanks Hollywood.

Teeth – watched this horror film last night and it’s a gleefully evil film. I wasn’t expecting anything and at first the protagonist was incredibly naive and annoying, but I was laughing at each gruesome mutilation, and totally rooting for her by the end. Warning – strong stomachs, especially for phobic men… it’s a monster movie about vagina dentata!  In short, recommended :)

I was terribly unimpressed with Apocalypto. Or rather, it just furthered my belief that Mel Gibson is in love with blood and gore, because really, was there a plot to that movie beyond gruesome deathiness?

Vagina dentata? Goodness! There's an official latin term for it! I first witnessed this in Wicked City and scarred many a male friend by lending them my copy of the video.
