Le sigh.
Dr Horrible? Brilliant! More! Ending a little abrupt, eh? Damn, that's only just whet the tastebuds. When are we going to see Dr Horrible again, hmm? I can see it working as a cartoon/comic/computer game/T shirt... and for that matter, why doesn't Dollhouse hurry up and come out? I am bored! There is not enough entertainment in my life!
Doomsday was good, but not as great as I was expecting (and certainly weaker than Neil Marshalls' previous films Dog Soldiers and The Descent). Good action scenes but not enough work on the script, damn it - even B-movies need to have a good plot and script!
Work sucks - not nearly enough to do, mostly sitting here reading the papers. And very badly organised, so it's either Panic Stations or Dead Calm with nothing in between.
All the TV shows need to come back now. I need a new job. Also a new place to live would be nice. Oh, and a holiday. And four cats. And while I'm asking, Angelina Jolie and Liv Tyler. Covered in cheese.

Date: 2008-07-21 04:20 pm (UTC)I saw Fringe. It was ok but didn't inspire me! I'll have to see how they go with that...
The Middleman is pretty good, for a family-friendly show :)

Date: 2008-07-22 11:21 pm (UTC)You know I still haven't seen the Descent. Katy was looking at my DVDs today and saw it and said that the book it was based on was one of the most terrifying things she'd ever read and even seeing the trailer terrified her. In fact she laid it on so thick I'm very eager to watch it now.
Really? Cheese?

Date: 2008-07-23 09:51 am (UTC)And yes, cheese. I might get hungry and need a snack while I watch them frolic and pillow fight and braid each other's hair.
Although as I pointed out to buddleia, not MOLTEN cheese - that would be bad. I was thinking more like grated cheddar.
