That's interesting... Schoolgirls and oysters...

So last night, as well as the obligatory back-to-school dream (and thankfully this time I was sharing my room with two teenage girls... go brain go!) I also had a dream where assorted little shellfish were stripping naked and hurling themselves into my mouth.

So I thought I'd ask: has anyone ever tried raw oysters? What are they like? And is it true about the, ahem, special effects? Or does it result in what I imagine would happen if I ate raw oysters, ie severe food poisoning?

Quite frankly, I think oysters got the rep for being aphrodisiac purely for the way they smell. The idea of their sliminess sliding down my throat, still alive, strangely does not turn me on. But I've never tried them, so I thought I'd ask if any of you had!

Anyone know?

I have a thing for ticky buttons and it seems I am not alone. When I make a poll on an open post, no matter how inane the topic, people come from far and wide to do the poll.
