Not as dire as it sounds but it is Monday

Autumn already? Deary me, that was fast. Shame on you summer, you were lame. I don’t like the heat, but I shall miss the sunshine.
Disneyland was great, thanks for asking… although I have to say it was very odd to go along without a kid in tow! It really is all about the kids – lots of tiny girls in princess outfits, with their trainers and jeans poking out underneath, and little boys with a gun, or sword, or collapsible lightsaber… and all of them wandering around with eyes like saucers. Still, jolly good fun – on the last night we had dinner at The Blue Lagoon which is a restaurant built around a large cavern towards the beginning of the Pirates of The Caribbean ride – delightfully surreal and the food was good too.
I have been swimming in place since we got back – one week off is not enough, particularly since no one picked up my work while I was away – and am still not sure what I’m doing. But we have also started looking at flats with a view to moving closer in to town.
And now it’s Autumn… where does all this time keep going? And can I keep a piece for myself, please? Thank you kindly. I shouldn’t be this stressed and tired all the time and yet I feel like I am.
Must go as someone has dumped more work on my desk. Because that’s funny *makes face*
ETA: Just thought I would add that as soon as I'd posted this, I got given tons of work. And then my computer gleefully crashed.
Mondays. They're nearly as bad as mornings. I'm just saying

Date: 2008-09-24 11:38 pm (UTC)Work can be funny sometimes, they give you tons of work each piece of which is the most important piece, the systems work worse and worse each time they try and fix it and chaos and incompetence rule. It's a laugh though innit.
