On tv stuff

I am royally disappoint by the news that Netflix has cancelled Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance. It was definitely one of my favourite tv shows last year, and I thought it was magnificently done. Very surprised to hear it wasn't renewed, but hopefully some other network will realise what a prize it was and pick it up.

Currently really enjoying The Boys, Raised By Wolves, and Lovecraft Country. It's a glut of good tv. Oh, and the Star Trek cartoon Lower Decks is pretty good too, odd to have a light comedy show that is also canon!

Next up: The Mandalorian Season 2!

There really is a glut isn't there?

I'm finding Raised By Wolves very odd pacing wise but eminently watchable and it's got a season 2 I believe. I Lovecraft Country is also very strange (but hardly surprising there) but I really enjoy it. Same for The Boys.

I want to recommend a historical comedy/drama to you, The Great (about Catherine The Great), I haven't found anything quite so funny in a while. While still having shocking bits and drama.

Oh yes - ravurian beat you to it though! He persuaded me it was worth a watch and indeed I powered my way through it one weekend - and was delighted to find it has appareantly gained a second season!
