I just spent five minutes in the bathroom at work carefully applying lip balm to my hair.

So buddleia and I went to see Rilo Kiley the other night at the Shepherd’s Bush Empire – yay, I love that band! They looked different from how I expected them to – Jenny Lewis is teeny tiny! – but I really enjoyed hearing them live. One of my favourite new bands of the last year or so – recommended.

 

I think we’re going to head down to Brighton this weekend to blow off some steam… real life has had a tendency to suck recently for various reasons. Cold wind blowing off the seafront should be just the thing to scatter those cobwebs.  Plus it'll be good to have a mooch around with blankbadge. My mooching skills are getting rusty.

 

There are a few films I’d like to catch at the cinememema at the moment… hopefully get to do some of that too. Bring on the drinks with the pointy umbrellas :)
