Support the NHS

Hello UK people.

Apparently the government is doing silly things that might undermine local GP clinics. Read more here, and then sign the petition if you'd like to show your support.

Bless the BBC. They've done an article on the best freely available software.

I'm sure most of you tech-savvy people have some of these already, but it's always worth a fresh look. I've used Zone Alarm and AVG before, and VLC Media player is very useful. I might give Media Monkey a go though, as it sounds useful. There's also a free basic version of Photoshop on there.
