Well they are good mates but I've only seen him mention her once on his journal when he was talking about his story 'The problem of susan'. He said that he considered it a story about the relationship we have with childrens fiction but Roz insisted it was femslash.

Roz, of course, doesn't count. Sorry Roz, but being friends with him is cheating.

I'll never forget the first time I met Neil at a signing. It is one of my favourite memories. I went with Selena, and we hung around outside the Forbidden Planet for a while getting really nervous. (This would have been for American Gods) Finally we got to the front. The nerves affected us in different ways: Selena started hyperbabbling inanely and I went completely silent.

When we got to Neil, he said to Selena: "Oh yes, you're Roz's friend. She told me you were coming." At which point both our heads exploded.

That was a wonderful, wonderful day. And it is true what they say, he is the nicest man you'll ever meet.
