... is tomorrow (Friday). I'll be travelling down to Brighton in the morning, so if there any last minute messages for Selena, please let me know.

For the rest of you, Selena is a very close friend of mine who died suddenly and shockingly last year of leukaemia. I and

spintrian and various others are dropping down to visit her tomorrow, or in some cases (due to work commitments etc), the next day. She would have been twenty-nine and she was really cool. She laughed like a drain and spilled food down her front all the time. If she was still around, I've no doubt I'd be seeing her tomorrow, and trying to get her drunk (which wasn't hard). Spare a thought for her, if you could.

I shall be taking her flowers, possibly pebbles from Brighton beach, and if I have time will eat a sloppy Subways Meatball sandwich in her honour.

Conversations with my mother are going less well. But I'd rather not talk about that. She'll be leaving soon anyway. Brighton, here I come! Did ya miss me?
