Oh Jesus God no... London has just won the Olympic bid for 2012. Holy radioactive crap on a stick, why?! I just find it such an incredible waste of money that could be spent on something worthwhile, like improving the Underground, say. Or hospitals. Little things like that. I can only hope there will be a knock-on effect in improving transport and public services.

I'm going to have to move now...

Maybe the improvements to the Underground will happen as part of the preparations?
