Still settling in... my photo album is nearly done, and will undoubtably be of little interest to anyone but myself. But it has Sea Angels and Sea Dragons and Monkeys of the Non-Sea Variety and I am very pleased with it. I'll post a link when it's done.
I have bought tickets to see Neil Gaiman's talk on Tuesday 8th November at the Institute of Education in London. I believe he's going to give a reading, talk about Anansi Boys and Mirrormask and many other things no doubt, and be questioned by (read: exchange amusing banter with) Lenny Henry. Anyone else going? Neil is the nicest famous person I have ever met. He is a prince, oh yes, a prince of stories.
I am delighted to see that Mirrormask has a screening as part of the London Film Festival on Oct 30th and Nov 1st (see here for details http://www.lff.org.uk/films_details.php?FilmID=774) especially as it hasn't been confirmed for general release over here, as far as I know. I'm so there! Mirrormask looks incredible.
Also, did you know your cosmetic products might have bits of dead people in them? Here ya go, enjoy: http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk_news/story/0,3604,1568467,00.html
That's all for now.
