Red Lentil Day/ 'Jeez it's cold' whinge

Unfortunately, I can always tell when it's been particularly cold during the night: as I have a poorly insulated room, I wake up feeling awful! Cue this morning's sore throat.

This afternoon I am getting my head x-rayed, and I'm currently on antibiotics and steroids. Yesterday I had a Red Lentil Day... that is, a spillage accident as my dinner was ready and hot and it was time to rush to the tv to catch Rome. Red lentils everywhere, the little bastards, all over the kitchen counter, the floor, in both toasters, and sprinkled liberally over my dinner. My pasta was extra crunchy... I had to pick them out while sat in front of the tv.

There you go... comedy, illness and a little mystery.

No. I seem to have misplaced my brain. I sent the ghost of my dead hamster (Master Steerpike) in search of it, but he's gone missing too. Although I can hear him running around in there on his phantom hamster wheel, the little bastard...

I suggest sending in a phantom cat, to deal with the phantom hamster.
