Damned good party. Very impressed by how many people actually turned up with masks (all but three, and that's good going considering there must have been around 30 people there) and especially those who went to the effort to try and make their own (as I know first-hand how *bloody hard* that is!). buddleia's kept slipping off for some reason (*cough cough*) and my friend (well, buddleia's originally but I'm intent on stealing her) Anna won the prize for best mask with a splendid gold crescent moon face. Very glad when we were allowed to remove masks, as mine killed my peripheral vision! Um, all three of them (blushes)... although they were credited for disturbing one of spintrian's friends for their morphing qualities.

My head was a bit party-aftermath yesterday, and I missed out on the clean-up, but the house is nonetheless spotless. Well done all housemates. I did a good job of providing Sunday morning crumpets and cups of tea etc before rushing out though.

Missed the cleanup as I was meeting up with my dear friend Naomi to catch up and discuss a bit of real-life bother... had the added surreal quality of taking place in Knightsbrisge amid posh shoppers in their hundreds (Back! Back I say!) and she punished me for being tardy by making me sit with her as she tried on (rather nice) black boots for an hour, as my head tried to decide whether it was still drunk. Very good to see her though.
