And I even learned some new words today! Which is always good.

snarf - To spray food or drinks due to laughing at the wrong moment.

rimshot - The term is erroneously used to refer to the sting played by the drummer in cabaret shows to accentuate the punchline of a joke. As a result, a particularly obvious laugh line is sometimes called a rimshot.

spit take - A spit-take is a comedic technique in which someone spits a beverage out of his or her mouth when he or she reacts to a statement.

Hahaha "rimshot". It just sounds RUDE!

An ACTUAL rimshot is when the drummer hits the rim of the snare with the side of the drumstick, making a kind of muted but quite penetrating click (tho you probably already knew that innit). I love that sound and demand more rimshots in the Springs repertoire.
