Would anyone like to go to the Alan Moore talk in London on the 12th of October? I am very tempted, but not sure if I fancy going it alone.

Alan Moore and Melinda Gebbie - Lost Girls.
Thursday 12 October at 7pm - Logan Hall, Institute of Education, 20 Bedford Way, London WC1H 0AL
They guided us through Wonderland, Neverland and the Land of Oz: now Alice, Wendy and Dorothy have grown up and are ready to guide us through the realms of sexual awakening and fulfilment. One of the most influential writers in the history of comics, Alan Moore has brought us such groundbreaking graphic novels as V for Vendetta, From Hell and the League of Extraordinary Gentleman. Lost Girls is illustrated by Melinda Gebbie. Lost Girls is for adults only. Alan and Melinda will be in conversation with comedian, broadcaster and comic fan Stewart Lee.

Tickets £8.00, concessions £6.00. To book tickets call 0845 456 9876.

I am going, along with my comics guru of gurus Mr Hanson. ( A lot of you are my comics gurus, you included, but he is the scary one who says 'nonono, that image first appeared in X-Men 14'.
