Does anyone believe in succubi?

Because I've been impressively brain-dead today. No, more than usual. Someone in another department just helpfully pointed out where a light-switch was. Because I couldn't find it, and was mindlessly pawing a wall.

Add that to the odd dreams last night, and I'm sure something was sucking my brains out at dawn this morning. Through my left nostril. Which would explain why that side of my head hurts again.

What's that? They don't suck on brains? Oh! I see...

You too, huh? I've been incapable of doing anything all day. I swear these things happen to mass populations simultaneously. I was at a school yesterday, and all the (normally quite sane) kids had gone loopy, as one. Full moon, we reckoned.

Speaking of zombies and succubi, have you read Mike Carey's Felix Castor books? The first one was The Devil You Know. I'm reading the second one Vicious Circle at the moment, and it's very good. Like Hellblazer, if John Constantine was an exorcist.

Could be worse. You should see the succubi who have moved over in the tooth fairy business. You never know what you'll find under the pillow.

Sounds cool. I'll have to keep them in mind for when finances improve but Mike is always a good read.
