Buffy Season 8

The first issue of the new Buffy comic is out now...

...and it's great! Written by Joss Whedon, picking up some months after the end of the TV series, but progressing naturally from the events of the last ep. It has Buffy being a kick-ass commando leader of a Slayer network, Xander running ops (and making Nick Fury jokes re: his eyepatch), Dawn has, ahem, a very large part... no Willow, Giles or Andrew yet, but they're all mentioned. And the Big Bad, introduced at the end of the first issue? Perfect! And hilarious. No, I'm not telling you. Go and buy it, it's really good. Just like old times... :)

Yeah, I liked it too which really surprised me. I was expecting to not like it but you're right, it was just right. It just really felt like the characters and I've missed them.
