 ...and this morning I woke up and founr that I had accidentally managed to stain my nose pink.

Work today should be fun.

...except it isn't because we have a full day Development Day with compulsory attendance at talks and seminars and lectures and ohgodisitstillmorning?! YOU MEAN I HAVE A WHOLE DAY OF THIS TO GO? ARGH GODS YER BASTARDS KILL ME NOW!!!

Last time we had a "Development Day" we had an inspiring American motivational speaker flown in especially to talk to us.

I wanted to stab his eyes out with my thumbs.

He made us all sing and clap along to a music video starring The Hair Bear Bunch, a little-know Hanna Barbara cartoon from the early 80's... when they'd run out of good ideas (and animators) and were clearly slumming it and riding their past success.

I will never forget those 20 mins of my life.

Luckily this time there have been no singalongs so far.

Pray for me.

Development Day - Last Update

Just had my last seminar - thank fuck for that, it's over!

Although for some reason the Trainer decided early on in the session that my name was Zen.

I didn't bother to correct him.

Have just written my comments sheet and I can assure you that Zen was nowhere to be found ;)
