From Neil Gaiman's Journal yesterday, a story about how "Hallowe'en is being banned at a Washington school because it's disrespectful to witches." Americans... honestly. I'm so glad we were never affected by the plague of political correctness in the same way in the UK.

No, I'm with you... I was just as flabbergasted to hear about the gay marriage law being repealed in San Francisco as I was pleased to hear it implemented in the first place.

It just all seems so arbitrary sometimes, dependant on passing whimsy.

Even though I don't live in America, I'm going to lock myself in a room on November 2nd with no communication with the media in any form and then get riotously and gleefully drunk in whooping celebration that night. The next day will be soon enough to find out who really won.

I do not live in the States either, but as I am a citizen, I have the right to vote which I have already joyfully employed. ::crosses fingers:: I hope the world does not have to put up with another 4 years of bush.
