I've got a friend here who has a problem like that. He tells me he can't listen to music while walking because he forgets how to breath properly.
If you have real problems breath into a paper bag. When the bag is inflated it's time to breathe in, when it's all crumpled up it's time to breathe out again.

What's actually happened is that my left nostril has developed sentience, and keeps opening and closing at will. I think it's trying to contact others of its kind with Morse Code. Luckily my right nostril is deaf.
No, it's a weird thing with my sinuses. It's been ongoing for a long time, on and off. I'm on the waiting list to see an ENT specialist. They said maybe October. Sheesh.
